Protect Your Home. Protect Your Vehicle. Keep Life Moving.

With Home + Auto protection, you can bring your home and vehicle protection together under one bundled option. One plan. One deductible. One less thing to keep track of.

And when you need to use your protection, you already know your number.

One Service Contract for Home and Auto Protection

Fenix Protect offers three ways to think about protection:

The Home + Auto option is designed for customers who want protection for both their vehicle and their home without treating them as two completely separate concerns.

Your home has systems and appliances that can fail. Your vehicle has mechanical and electrical components that can need repairs. Those problems do not always happen at convenient times.

Home and auto service contracts can help make covered repair costs more predictable when something goes wrong.

Home + Auto: Both Worlds, One Number

A home problem and a vehicle problem can happen in the same week. Your protection shouldn’t become another problem to manage.

The Fenix Protect approach is simple:

House and car. Same week. Still one number.

Your deductible depends on your individual plan, but Fenix Protect keeps the number straightforward: $100 or less.

That means you know the amount you are responsible for under your contract before you need to use your coverage.

No complicated explanation needed. Just a number you can understand.

What Does a Home Service Contract Cover?

A Home Service Contract can help protect eligible home systems and appliances when they fail from normal use.

Depending on your plan and contract terms, covered home systems can include:

  • Central heating
  • Central air conditioning
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical systems
  • Water heaters
  • Sump pumps
  • Accessible ductwork

Covered appliances can include:

  • Refrigerators
  • Dishwashers
  • Ranges, ovens, and cooktops
  • Food waste disposers
  • Trash compactors
  • Built-in and over-the-range microwaves

Additional coverage options may also be available for certain items, such as clothes washers and dryers, swimming pools or spas, additional refrigerators or freezers, garage door openers, central vacuums and water well pumps.

Coverage varies by contract. Your individual service contract determines which items are covered, along with applicable terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations.

What Does a Vehicle Service Contract Cover?

A Vehicle Service Contract helps protect eligible vehicle repairs after the manufacturer’s warranty ends.

Depending on the plan, covered components can include areas such as:

Engine
Transmission
Transfer case
Drive axle
Cooling system
Fuel system
Electrical components
Air conditioning
Steering
Suspension

Fenix Protect offers multiple Vehicle Service Contract plans, with coverage and eligibility varying by plan and vehicle.

When a covered problem occurs, your vehicle can be taken to a licensed repair shop or dealership for diagnosis. The repair facility works with the Claims department to review the repair and obtain approval before covered work is performed.

Why Combine Home and Auto Service Contracts?

Managing protection for the things you rely on every day should be straightforward.

A bundled home and auto service contract can make sense for customers who want to address both areas of their lives through one protection option.

1

Protect the Things You Depend On

Your home keeps your everyday life running. Your vehicle helps you get where you need to go.

When an eligible repair comes up, having service contract protection can help reduce the financial uncertainty that comes with an unexpected covered breakdown.

2

Know Your Number

Fenix Protect believes the deductible should not be hidden behind complicated language.

Depending on your plan, your deductible is $100 or less.

You know the number going in. That makes it easier to understand your protection before you need it.

3

Keep Protection Simple

Home and auto protection involves enough details already. Fenix Protect focuses on straightforward language, clear expectations and a claims process you can understand.

The goal is not to make you decode your service contract. It is to help you understand what you have and what to do when you need it.

What Happens When Something Breaks?

Your claims process depends on whether you need service for your home or vehicle.

For an Auto claim, take your vehicle to a licensed repair shop or dealership for a diagnostic. The repair facility contacts the Claims department, and all claims must receive approval before covered repair work is performed.

For a Home claim, you contact the Claims department to report the problem. A Service Provider in your area is then assigned to diagnose the issue. The Service Provider contacts you to schedule a service call, generally within 24-48 hours, and then works with Claims to determine the next step.

The process is different because home and vehicle repairs are different. But the goal is the same: make the process understandable when you need help.

Straightforward Protection from Fenix Protect

Fenix Protect has spent more than 18 years helping customers manage the unexpected costs associated with covered repairs.

That experience is reflected in a simple philosophy: tell customers what matters, say the number plainly and keep the process understandable.
